Saturday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 PM

Meet and Greet  the speakers

starting Saturday at 5:30 PM and going to 7:30 PM

There will be one or two speakers each night 
starting at 7:00 PM

Saturday will have two speakers and a Virtual Social event 
starting at 5:30 PM and going to when ever.....

Aquaventure Dive and Photo Center offers free air fills and special pricing on rental equipment while participating in GLSPS projects. You will be required to show your GLSPS Membership Card.  They have also loaned us a GoPro HD video camera for a few projects. Thank you, Steve and Jolene!

Memorial Fund for Special GLSPS Volunteers
This is a Fund that the GLSPS set up for our dedicated volunteers that have gone out of their way to help the GLSPS with many of our projects and that a spouse or the special volunteer has passed away.  
Please donate what you can to help them either pay for their funeral expenses or a donation to their favorite Charity.
This donation is for Louise Olsen and Michelle Soderbeck.

3D Photogrammetry Modeling
Please help us with the funds we need for documenting our shipwrecks using 3D Photogrammetry.  This is a relatively new process we are starting in 2020.   
We hope you can donate some funds to help us get started with this really awesome process.
Progress: $ 800.00 received toward our goal of $ 2,000.00
RV Preservation / Boat Fund for Equipment
This is a fund we need for the GLSPS Research Vessel, the RV Preservation. The donations / funds we collect go towards keeping the vessel safe, reliable, functional and comfortable for the members and crew during the season of projects. Currently we are seeking funds to replace the depth sounder / sonar and the Chart Plotter / GPS for the RV Preservation. Please consider a donation to help purchase new Navigation equipment for the Society's research vessel.
Progress: $ 2,850.00 received toward our goal of $ 8,000.00
Thomas Wilson Invasive Species Monitoring Project
Please donate to this project to help study the Invasive Species invading our largest body of fresh water in the USA and that are attaching themselves to the Thomas Wilson shipwreck .  We are also seeking funds to document this shipwreck and others along the Northshore of Lake Superior using the most modern 3D photogrammetry technology of today.
Progress: $ 121.01 received toward our goal of $ 2,000.00
S.S. Meteor Project
Donate Funds to help stabilize and preserve a one of a kind whaleback ship, which is now a "National Museum" Currently we need funds to install an emergency communications system that can be connected to the internet. This will help secure the museum from vandalism and provide a way for associates to communicate with the main office down town.
Progress: $ 100.00 received toward our goal of $ 500.00
