Closing Report:

This is an Ice Dive for 3D Video Practice and Documentation on the Hopkins in Lake Minnetonka.  This was a one day only event!

During the ice dive, the main objective was to document and practice the new process of 3D Photogrammetry on the old streetcar boat (s) on Lake Minnetonka. Along with a little publicity with both the Star and Tribune and Kare11 TV in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

This was also used to practice shooting 3D video photogrammetry on the Streetcar Boat "Hopkins" to use for a much larger project of two warships sunk in Lake Ontario Hamilton Ontario.  Please see the Project Schedule and or Project Archive for more information.

Please check out the underwater video taken by Wim Wickle.  Thank you Wim!!

Here are also two of the animation results of the 3D Photogrammetry video taken by Ken Merryman and processed by Jerry Eliason.

Thank you to all the joined us and the help setting up and taking down for the project.

We would also like to thank the Star and Tribune and Kare 11 TV for writing an article on this project and the TV coverage about the passion associated with the active members of the GLSPS.  Here is their News Story / Video they created on behalf of the GLSPS.  "Hopkins" Shipwreck Video from Kare 11 News

Hope to see all of you on the next Ice dive and future projects of the GLSPS.
