About this event

Attention GLSPS Members

This weekend Program will be the official Launch of the season for the R / V Preservation at Spirit Lake Marina in Duluth.

After preparing the boat for the last two weeks we will be ready to launch the boat on Saturday afternoon.  We will motor it over to the dock to secure it.  We can then complete any tasks we started that day and before we depart for a 3 hour shakedown cruise.

Sunday morning we invite any member or companion of the GLSPS to join us for a cruise (south) on a scenic tour of the St Louis River Basin. The River will inspire you with it's grace and beautiful landscape.  Please bring your cameras.

Please come join us for the cruise and BBQ on Sunday.

Departure and Return to Dock Times on Sunday:

10:00 AM:  Depart for a two hour cruise south on the St Louis River and returning to the Spirit Lake Marina at 12:00 Noon.

12:00 PM:  Join us for a BBQ Lunch and socializing.

2:00 PM:  Depart for another two hour cruise south on the St Louis River and returning to the Spirit Lake Marina at 4:00 PM.

Options:  Depending on the group, we may opt for cruising through the Duluth and Superior Harbors, instead of the river.

4:30 PM:  Clean up and depart for home.

Please note:
You will need to Register (at no charge) so that we can purchase the correct amount of food.  and make sure we reserve space on the boat for each attendee.  Otherwise we will presume you are not able to join us.

Space on the boat is limited, so please register now!

We hope to see you there.

Happy Cruising,

Phil Kerber
