No tricks!  Diving’s a treat!  As a warm-up for Halloween and fall, BSA Venture Scuba Crew 820 invites certified divers from around the Twin Cities to join them carving pumpkins at Square Lake near Stillwater, on an underwater dive training platform, 22 feet down.

“Bring your own pumpkins”

If you need equipment there is a $30 cost for the outing: includes 1 tank of air, wet-suit, hood,    gloves, BC, regulator, carving tools, and FUN.  (If we do not have a wet suit that fits you, you will have to rent one on your own)  (Golden Acres vehicle and per-person fees are not included)

The water temperatures should be in the 60-degree range, with the best water visibility of the season!  The pumpkins will spill their guts out on shore prior to the dive and then add some Scout-rendered underwater “vegetable surgery”.  Last year it took a mere 32 minutes of underwater precision carving to turn ordinary garden gourds in to underwater masterpieces!

To register, we need your name, age, phone number, height, weight, and shoe size.

Sign-up cutoff date is Wednesday, October 3rd.
