GLSPS Announces

The Documentation, Photo and Video Practice Project
(On the SP Ely)
August 16 - 17, 2014

On this project all participants will have a chance to learn Monitoring procedures, practice underwater documentation skills and searching .  We can also review other procedures we use in stabilizing underwater shipwrecks.  We also review first aid procedures, boat and dive briefings, properly using check lists and following the protocol (S.O.P.) the GLSPS has established and perform the proper techniques to help preserve underwater shipwrecks.

One of the other objectives of the GLSPS is to have new members get involved on projects (or old members that have never joined us on a project) and feel welcome to register for future projects.  We don't want members to confuse us as a good old boys club.  We encourage people to join us and participate in the projects.  As always you need to be a member to participate, supply your own gear, know how to use it, and be qualified for this level of SCUBA diving. Max depth in this area is about 40 feet.
